Every day is an open world to stress. People are more likely to develop stress when they hardly can manage incidents occurred to them and feel pressured. Sometimes stress can be good in certain situation to make ones move more positively.

Nevertheless, prolong stress may be harmful and affect the health too. Some people may cope with stress by overeating or eating unhealthy foods, drinking alcohol, smoking or engage themselves in activities that increase the risk of diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure and etc

Look at the chart below to check if you are in stress. Tick if you have any of these signs and symptoms caused by stress.


Now you can see how many ticks you have, take a deep breath and be in control of yourself. No matter how much stressed we are, there is always a way to tone it down or out forever.

  • Identify your stress triggers.

Try avoiding things that you know will get you pressured.

  • Expect the unexpected.

Sometimes frustration may lead to certain level of stress.

  • Be positive.

Live is a box of chocolates. You’ll never know which one is your happiness switch.

  • Analyse your problem.

Get it solved when you are relaxed.

  • Strengthen your social support.

Get good back up from your family and peers during the turbulence times.

  • Stay active.

Join a voluntary work, give back to the community.

  • Be healthy.

The healthier we are, the more relax and happy we feel.
